Yolanda Wilson, Deloitte & Co-Director, Housing Pillar
YOLANDA WILSON is a Senior Manager with the U.S. Tax Global Office at Deloitte. She
consults with global leaders across the practice on global client service planning and leads efforts to drive execution of the global strategy in the U.S.. Yolanda began her career with Deloitte in 2008 and has served in different roles including managing the U.S. Research & Analysis team. She also played an instrumental role in the creation, launch and execution of Deloitte’s Tax Leadership Labs which are strategic Lab sessions designed to strategize with tax leaders as they transition into the top tax role of their organization or look to transform their tax department. In addition to facilitating the Tax Leadership Lab sessions, she also served as a champion presenting lessons learned from the Labs at external client roundtables and internal partner meetings.
Yolanda is an avid volunteer with a keen focus on giving back. She currently serves as the Deloitte Atlanta office Veterans lead and is on the advisory board of the Veterans Empowerment Organization and of United Way’s Vets Connect. She has also served as a housing and homelessness advocate for over 10 years. Her contributions include research and consulting to develop an affordable housing program to help reunify families by providing permanent housing for parents who were suffering homelessness due to substance abuse in Fulton County, implementing a program to help young adults aging out of foster care successfully transition into permanent housing, and chairing fundraisers to provide homeless veterans with temporary and permanent housing.
Yolanda is a certified Project Management Professional and a Six Sigma Black Belt trained professional. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi.
Of all her accomplishments and roles, Yolanda is most proud of being a “servant leader” and a working mom & wife. In addition to volunteering, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her teenage daughter, Kaylee and her husband, Rodney, of nearly 20 years.
Tyler Bowser, Veterans Empowerment Organization & Co-Director, Housing Pillar
TYLER BOWSER is an Air Force Veteran that served from 1996 to 2000 as a Satellite and Wideband communications technician. He served in support of Operation Southern Watch and was deployed to South West Asia. After the Air Force, Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Phoenix and worked for Starbucks Coffee Company opening and operating stores in the Tampa Bay market.
